Playground surfacing project design ideas

Challenge

Playgrounds often pose safety challenges due to slips and trips, especially with children. When designing the MOKO Park, achieving visual appeal and integrating local cultural elements was primary objective while ensuring safety was equally important.

Solutions

The Rosehill TPV wet pour rubber granules system effectively addressed both safety concerns and visual appeal needs. Designed to protect against slips, trips, and falls the system also offers exceptional UV stability, ensuring that the surface retains it’s vivid colours overtime.

Inspiration

The playground project design drew inspiration from the city’s renowned Flower and Bird markets nearby, the playground seamlessly integrates local cultural elements into it’s unique design.

Among the diverse playground equipment the park boasts a Rosehill TPV reinforced climbing wall and balancing platforms ensuring both durability and safety throughout the playground. This strategic blend of design, safety and cultural references positions MOKO Park as unique and valued recreational space in the heart of the city.
