Wakol Intercoll D 3460 is a water-based contact adhesive for contact-bonding upholstery foam to itself and to absorbent upholstery materials. It’s a solvent-free, phthalate-free contact adhesive that forms a flexible dried film and is designed to give strong “grab” (green strength) for foam bonding. This spray contact adhesive is applied with a spray gun (HVLP recommended) and is suitable for fast, clean upholstery workflows where you want consistent coverage and a reliable bond without solvent content.

Recommended uses

• Contact-bonding upholstery foam to foam (foam adhesive / foam-to-foam bonding).
• Bonding upholstery foam to absorbent materials such as upholstery fabrics, leather, wood, hard fibre, paperboard, fleece and similar.

How to apply

• Supplied ready for use (no dilution needed). Do not blend with other adhesives.
• Ensure bonding surfaces are clean and free from dirt, dust and grease.
• Apply with a spray gun on one or both parts. HVLP spray gun recommended at approx. 1 bar.
• Processing temperature: above +15 °C.
• Airing time: none. Open time: approx. 25 minutes (varies with amount, temperature and humidity).

Important notes

• Frost-sensitive. Store between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Parts in contact with the adhesive should be stainless steel or plastic to avoid coagulation.
• Do not inhale spray mist—use suitable extraction and PPE where required.

Cleanup & storage

• Clean with water while fresh; after drying, use the recommended Intercoll cleaner/solvent.
• Storage life: up to 9 months at +20 °C in the unopened original container.
