Wakol Intercoll D 3455 is a water-based adhesive for 2-component spray application, designed for professional upholstery work and mattress production. It’s a solvent-free contact adhesive system used with an activator, supporting efficient spray workflows where quick handling is important. The product can be applied using air-mix spray guns or suitable low-pressure airless guns, and it’s intended for bonding absorbent and low-absorbent substrates such as polyurethane foam, latex foam, textiles, felt, and wood.

• Upholstery manufacturing workflows needing a spray-applied contact adhesive
• Mattress production where fast, repeatable contact bonding is required

How to apply

• Supplied ready for use (no dilution needed). Do not blend with other adhesives.
• Ensure bonding surfaces are free of dirt, dust, and grease.
• Supply from a pressure vessel or membrane pump.
• Use as a 2-component spray system with Wakol Intercoll D 3437 2K Activator.
• Apply to both parts with spray-mix guns; typical spraying pressure is approx. 1.5–2.5 bar.
• Processing temperature: above +15 °C. Airing time: none. Open time: approx. 10 minutes (conditions dependent).

Important notes

• Frost-sensitive: store between +5 °C and +30 °C.
• Parts in contact with the adhesive should be stainless steel or plastic.
• Do not inhale spray mist—use suitable extraction and PPE where required.

Cleanup & storage

• Clean with water while fresh; after drying, use the recommended Intercoll cleaner (as specified in the TDS).
• Shelf life: up to 12 months at +20 °C in the unopened original container.
