Adtech® 6204 is designed for the sealing and locking of threaded fasteners which may require easy disassembly with standard hand tools.

Overview

Adtech® 6204 is a single component, medium strength thixotropic, acrylic based anaerobic nutlock. Adtech® 6204 cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents leakage and loosening from vibration and shock. Adtech® 6204 is particularly suitable for uses on less active substrates such as plated surfaces and stainless steel, where disassembly is required with hand tools.

Properties

Works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminium, plated surfaces)
Proven to tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils, e.g. engine oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids
Prevents loosening on vibrating parts, e.g. pumps, gear boxes or presses
Permits disassembly with hand tools for servicing
