- Veneering
Cascamite is particularly useful when small amounts of glue mix are needed or when demand is such that the use of liquid adhesive is uneconomic.
Key features:
- Good water resistance
- Very strong bond
- Can be mixed in small batches
How long does Cascamite take to cure?
The cure speed of Cascamite takes up to about 6-8 hours to fully cure.
Since Ureka have acquired the brand we have brought out a new formulation to speed up the cure speed for those who have projects that need further processing in a quick time frame.
Cascamite Accelerator is a hardener used with Cascamite glue. This accelerator increases the cure speed of the mixed glue to handling strength in approximately 25 minutes.
How do you use the Cascamite Accelerator?
Apply the Cascamite wood glue to the first substrate.
Once applied, apply the Cascamite Accelerator with a brush to the second substrate. Brind both substrates together. Apply pressure with a clamp and leave to fully cure for 25 minutes.
